DJI Mavic Pro – 1/320, f/2.2, ISO 100, CWA Meter

Well it’s planting season. I thought this would make a good PotW because it is a drone photo, AND, I passed my FAA part 107 exam this week and got my certification! (My original cert expired in the middle of the Covid farce). The drone was my old workhorse (and very first drone) The Mavic Pro. This pic was taken very close to our backyard, and, in full transparency, there was some Photoshop work done – if you know the area, you might figure out what.

One other thing. This photo falls in the category of ‘Minimalist Phootography’. Minimalist photography is a form of photography that is distinguished by austere simplicity. It emphasizes sparseness and careful composition, shying away from overabundance of color, patterns, or information.
