5D Mk IV – EF70-200mm F/2.8L – 1/250, f/3.5, ISO 800, Spot Meter

About a month or so ago, a Robin started making its presence known at our house. He (or she) started parking itself on our Magnolia tree right outside our bathroom, and it would attempt to fly into the glass window. Lately, it is sitting right outside the window staring in. Kind of weird. The thing is, it is pretty skittish and any attempt I made to get a pic would scare it off faster than I could get the shot. I did manage to get some early shots, but realized the glass was very dirty, and the lens was focusing on the glass itself, and not the bird on the other side. So this week I went out and cleaned the glass thoroughly. It was ideal because how the window sits by the Magnolia made it so there was almost no glare.

Anyway, on Wednesday, I managed to get a few shots and this one turned out pretty good. Here is our ‘Peeping Robin’.
