The PotW this time came very late in the week. I was actually focusing on something much different for the PotW, but while mowing today, I came across this gem. What we have here is a robin nest inside an evergreen tree. You see, this tree was about 6 inches tall, living in a pot, two years ago. Roxie and I planted it out back and were pleasantly surprised that it has thrived, and is now about 4 ft tall. So, as I said, I was mowing and went by the tree when a robin went flying out of it. I looked down and quickly saw a nest with three little eggs in it. Roxie suggested I get a picture and the rest is history. I am worried that this nest is too low to the ground, about a foot. I’ll do what I can to keep an eye on it.
